The MTV Video Music Awards are in September and the nominees have been announced with Beyoncé and Lady Gaga each leading the way with nine nominations apiece. ey Spears was right on their heels with seven nods. the three of them are in the race for Video of the year for Single Ladies, Poker face, and Womanizer respectably. Closing out the video of the year race are Eminem for We Made You and Kanye West for Love Lockdown.
The MTV VMA's will be held in New York on September 13 and will be hosted by British Comedian Russell Brand.
